Under the authority of the Tanning Facility Permit Act (210 ILCS 145/1) and the Tanning Facilities Code (77 Ill. Adm. Code 795), the Greene County Health Department inspects all tanning facilities in Greeme County at least once a year. The inspector works with tanning facilities which are not in compliance with the requirements of the Tanning Act and Code to correct any violations and investigates complaints pertaining to tanning facilities.
