Skilled Home Health Services Part-time, intermittent skilled care for homebound clients including adults and High-Risk prenatal and infants. Payment Sources:
Greene County Health Department has been a certified Home Health Provider by the Illinois Department of Public Health since 1969.
Maintenance Home Care Part-time intermittent supervisory support care for homebound clients, age 60 or older. Nursing and Home Health Aide services and investigative visits are funded by Project LIFE Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
In-Home Respite Services Respite services are provided to the caregiver to help provide temporary relief of care and supervision on functionally impaired persons age 60 and older. Funded by Project LIFE Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
Training and Education Program Provides caregivers of older adults age 60 and over with education and training on a multitude of subjects (nutrition, skin care, safety in the home, disease processes, glucometer testing, etc). Services can be provided on-site, at the office, at a client's home, or a place of their preference. Referrals for this service can come from any source. Funded by Project LIFE Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
Helping Hands Program Greene County Health Department's philosophy and goal is to help Greene County residents maintain optimal health while remaining as independent as possible in their own home. For those persons who need assistance to safely stay in their home and who are not eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, or have private health insurance coverage, the Greene County Health Department offers the following services:
What is the Cost?
Anyone who lives in Greene County can receive these services if they need the help, regardless of age or health condition, with their physician's order. The Supervisor of Home Health Services will review referrals for acceptance in the Helping Hands program. |
