Local county contributors make the Conference possible. The University of Illinois Extension Greene County Unit and the Greene County Health Department jointly sponsor the Conference.
The purpose of the conference is to provide youth with the motivation and resources to improve their decision-making skills regarding teen sexuality, substance and drug abuse, AIDS, and other problems facing today's youth.
The conference was developed in 1986 by a coalition of agencies formed to address the problem of Greene County's high teen pregnancy rate.
