The Greene County Health Department performs vision and hearing screenings, referrals, and follow-up to children in day care centers, preschools, and parochial schools. Testing is available to adults with referrals and appointments. Funding for this program is through participant donations, the Healthy Kids/KidCare program, and through a grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
